Dr. Ngece holds a Phd in Economics (Environnent Entrepreneurship) from SMC University, Switzerland, Master of Science in Natural Resource Management from the University of Nairobi and Bachelor of Science from Egerton University, Njoro, Kenya.
He has attended various professional development programmes both in Kenya and Overseas.
He is a Programme/Project/Organization Management and Monitoring, Evaluation, Adaptation, Reporting and Learning (MEAL) Specialist, with over 18 years’ experience in development, design, fundraising, resourcing, planning and management of Donor, Private Sector and Government funded programmes. Dr. Ngece is a 4-time global finalist and 2-time global winner on developing Sustainability Community Enterprises. He combines experience and passion in developing and managing small and large programmes for communities, small organizations, governments, international organizations, private sector and donor institutions.
Dr. Ngece has worked as an Environment and Social Safeguards Specialist- Intergovernmental Authority on Development (IGAD), A consultant on Programme Design, Management, Monitoring, Evaluation, Adaptation, Reporting and Learning (MEAL) and Resource Mobilization Specialist at DETRA- Africa Consulting and a Programme/Grants Manager, Environment, Natural Resources and Climate Change at Swedish International Development Agency (SIDA), Embassy of Sweden, Nairobi among others.
He brings to the Board a wealth of experience of setting up and growing small organizations, including development of new governance systems for organizations.
