Mr. Edward Wanjala holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance from the University of Nairobi and a Diploma in Business Management from the Kenya Institute of Management.

Mr. Wanjala was appointed as an Independent Board Member of the Kenya Trade Remedies Agency in August 2025. He is a retired banker with close to 30 years of experience, having joined the banking industry in February of 1995.

He has worked at various banks, including I&M Bank Ltd. (for nearly 19 years until his retirement in April 2023), Barclays Bank Kenya Ltd., and Trust Bank Ltd.

His banking expertise includes Credit Administration, Foreign Exchange, Client Relations Management, and Branch Management. He possesses extensive expertise in financial management and client relations.
