Mr. Kapkirwok is the Chief of Party, RIGO System Strengthening - a USAID-funded project since 2018. RIGO Systems Strengthening Supports The Common Market for Eastern and Southern Africa ( COMESA), East Africa Community (EAC) and Intergovernmental Authority on Development (IGAD) and their specialized agencies  covering  22 countries to strengthen their internal systems. He is responsible for teams in Djibouti, Nairobi, Arusha and Lusaka and Washington DC.

Born in 1960 in Kenya, Mr. Kapkirwok has 30 years of overall experience in Management and Leadership both at Executive and Board level, 12 of which have been in Regional Economic Integration. He has a track record in supporting Regional Economic Integration as an employee, a consultant and representative of development partners (donors). He also has experience as an executive for a large for-profit corporation with annual turnover of USD 1 billion (Kenya Airways).  He has Proven conceptual, analytical and communication skills and excellent International experience in a multicultural environment.

At the Executive level, Kapkirwok has served as CEO, Strategy Beyond Profit, (USA and Kenya) an own consulting firm (2004-2005),Senior Director, Trade Mark East Africa (TMEA), Nairobi, Kenya (2013 -2017) and Kenya Country Director, TMEA, Nairobi, Kenya (2010 -2012)

At the Board Level, Kapkirwok has served as the Chair of the Strategy Committee, Kenya Airways (2015- 2019), Member, Strategy Committee, Nairobi Stock Exchange (2001/2) and a Member of the Board of Directors (Sergoit Holding Ltds (2010) among others.
 At the Moment, He is an Independent Member of the Board of Directors and Chair of the Technical Committee.
